This is Speed Ball. He is my first finished 3D character -- meaning that he is fully ready to animate within 3Ds Max. This was my initial attempt to get an entire project through the character pipeline. I'm pretty proud of the results.
This is actually an older render of Speed Ball. When I get time, I'll add to this post with some of the new ones rendered in mental ray.
Hello anyone and everyone! ![]()
I've officially decided to start my own art blog. I'm doing this for a number of reasons... One, because I need a space where I can be creative and show that creativity to the world. Two, because a few friends of mine have told me that they would like to see more of what I can do. Three, because I'm bored due to being an unemployed college grad. Not to mention, The Games Page is taking a bit of a hiatus while we plan some new things, so I need a new website to pretend to update.
So, with the opening of this blog, I hope to accomplish a few things that I've wanted to do for a long time. I really want to be able to not just show the world my artwork, but I hope to be able to use it as a resource for my eventual employment in creative industries. I hope to bring anyone that's willing to read a little bit closer to who I am.
I'll be trying to update this blog at least once every two days, if not more often than that. Keep checking back for more updates!
