I have a few of these from my sketch book that i've cleaned up and put into my portfolio. They're older, but they're still pretty nice. They were all done with charcoal on newsprint, and time taken to draw ranges from 5 to 20 minutes.

All of these images were sketched using pencil and normal sketch paper. They were intended to be used as stylized promo art for The Games Page "brand".
Below are the four finished drawings completed in photoshop. I plan on finishing the Speed Ball and Gunner images soon.

These images are straight out of my portfolio. They're life drawings of friends of mine. They're actually older images that I did when I started school, but I've kept them in my portfolio as they are some favorites of mine.
The above images were done originally on newsprint with chalk pastel. Below is a pencil sketch done on regular sketch-pad paper. All of these images were done within 20 minutes.
So tonight, I'm releasing my new Art Blog to the public! W00t.
As I stated before, this is going to be somewhat of a professional artists blog. I will be updating this often starting this week so that I can keep my skills sharp, as well as provide an outlet for my creativity for the world -- and potential employers -- to see. Hopefully, it all works out!
Thanks for viewing my blog!
For my first class in Materials & Lighting at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, we were required to light an object with a basic 3-point light scheme. Since I'm a huge gamer and I enjoy Nintendo's waggle wand technology, I decided to go with the Wii remote as my subject.

I did a 3D model of an in-progress poker game to use as a backdrop for a commercial advertising the World Series of Poker.

This was originally an assignment I worked on for a course in 3D Visual Effects. After the class, I upgraded the project to turn it into a finished piece for my reel.

It's a right-handed glove! This "character" is one that I added to my demo reel to give it a little bit of diversity from its originally all-environment lineup. It's actually part of a larger piece called "The Craps Calculator Intro".

This is my pool room environment. Rendered in the Mental Ray renderer. I'm a big fan of billiards and fancy-looking pool rooms, and this particular piece describes that fandom. I tried to keep it dark in most of the room while keeping it bright in the areas around the table. When you get up close to the billiard balls, you can see the room reflecting in them nicely.

This is the Wii Man. He's a generic character that I created to take part in a commercial I built for a Motion Graphics course. All modeling, rigging, and animation was done by myself.
